Chopping off the American Dream

Bizarre Politics Reports:
What it takes to restore the America Dream. Top Newspaper editors endorse a "parochial free trade approach" again and ignore what went wrong in the globalist free trade world
The Trap - Free Trade fails us. Ray Tapajna Chronicles - Why do major news channels fail to tell what went wrong and why before they pronounce some new way of restoring our economy. Nothing good will happen until they find out the causes of our economic crisis and ways to correct what went wrong.
News Channels still do not report how free trade has failed us. Free trade failures
The Cleveland Plain Dealer editorial staff endorses the funding of
foreign entrepreuners to come to Cleveland. They call it a win win
situation. They say it is a realization that Cleveland has to be less
parochial to succeed in the global economy. This is a slap in the face
for those who lost everything due to free trade.
In the first place, who said we had to compete in a global economic
arena with one another for the same jobs?
I do know that Cleveland was once a major high technology center in the
world. In traveling to the Silicon Valley for years, I know they knew
about it there too. In just a short period of time, free trade came and
stole it all from us. More than a thousand computer businesses and
systems houses closed down in Ohio, Michican and Pennsylvania. Many were part of my main customer base. Millions of workers in the USA lost their
jobs in the computer industry alone but the news really went unreported.
Many cities like Cleveland had it all and lost it.
Companies and businesses were promised help when they lost everything
due to free trade and agreements like NAFTA. They got nothing. Now our city and county want to fund foreign start ups while ignoring the fact that workers are being used as tools of globalization and free trade. As taxpayers they have
funded the building of stadiums and commercial ventures plus paid billions of dollars to bring in foreign assembly plants. Workers funded these ventures and got very little in return.
This all happens while thousands in our city stand in line for a few part time jobs at McDonalds. Many in line most likely have high tech skills that will
never be used again. Now the newspaper wants to fund more the same
things in "free trade parochial ways" without even talking about what
went wrong. You would think someone in the media would at least try to tell us a few facts.
