Bizarre Politics Reports: Workers betrayed. Impoverished City surrenders to free trade

The betrayal of Workers not only in the USA but across the globe. Who said we had to compete like this with one another for the same jobs?

and our economic storms as millions of American workers lose their jobs.

The Sacrilege under the Cross of 9/11 Tangle of Terror - Who can untangle the terror Globalization and Free Trade have bred

Walmart, steelworkers, grave yard, economic crisis

Wal-Mart build on the grave yard of the steel industry.

Our new artwork above represents the devastation of the steel industry in the USA. More than 700,000 workers in the steel industry in the USA have lost their jobs. Each job supported about five other jobs in a value added economy. On top of that more than 400,000 lost their jobs in the auto industry and more than a million workers lost their jobs in the computer industry.

Now government programs spend billions to create new jobs. Just think of the value lost when all of these jobs were sacrificed at the altar of greed by the money changers. I wonder how much of the steel in the new Trade Centers will be made in the USA. Free Trade now has a long history of failures while the globalist free traders call for more of the same thing. Our economy based on making money on money instead of making things has burned out. President Obama bails out the money changers who caused the problems and put them back in charge to do even more harm. The bail outs are not working and the U.S. now has a vast working poor class and an underclass who can not even afford to buy tthe cheaper imports. Workers in places like WalMart need government assistance to survive. The Middle Class workers who paid the bills are now unemployed with no place to go.

Our city has surrendered to free trade and our Mayor Jackson celebrated the opening of a new Walmart super store on the grave yard of the steel industry where thousands once enjoyed middle class jobs. Walmart is on " sacred" where workers spent their lives making a living. Now the jobs are gone and it is a "sacrilege" to have a Walmart built in where so many gave their all for many to enjoy the American Dream.

Our city newspaper keeps writing editorials how our economic future depends on robust trade with emerging markets. It is now more than 15 years since President Clinton consummated the free trade programs, but the media calls still calls free trade -trading but the fact remains that free trade is not about trading commodities and products but it is basically about moving production from place to place anywhere in the world for the sake of cheaper labor where the money changers take advantage of the situation to make money on money.

Common sense tells us that this will not work no matter how close big goverment and big money work together. It is indeed a race to the bottom. It is a race where only a few win while millions lose.
