Why are people so angry ? Someone needs to open a relief valve.
Globalization and free trade have cut off our ability to pay for many
of our needs and the private sector can not do it alone and businesses
can not compete in a global economic arena burdened with overhead that
their competitors do not have. We first have to find the best way to
pay the toll for health care. Our tax codes are obsolete and some sort
of transaction fees on every transaction is the only thing that is left
to pay for things like health care and other social needs since the
Free Enterprise system has been fractured by free trade.
How many of your co-workers were sacrficed in order to
pay for those who are left on the jobs with benefits.
The same applys across the board.
Government, liberals and conservatives have all played their part in the
destruction of the American Dream by pushing so called free trade and
Globalization. It comes down to this, workers have had no voice in the
process no matter what and they want to be heard. President Obama is
in denial about our economy based on making money on money instead of
making things.
As I noted in this cartoon years ago , you can not cut off the head of a
body to feed the body.

Only local value added economies add the balance for all society needs
